Part of my new series of collages based around lost and forgotten foods from the UK. Each collaged person holds a unique and special food item and is dressed in clothes I have designed, inspired by historic photos.

Here are some Penclawdd Cockles. These cockles, unique to South Wales have been around since the Roman times, many years ago they went into decline due to water pollution and a loss of interest in trend, taste and traditional recipes but they are now on the of rise of popularity across the country again!

Paper size: A5 torn to size

This collage has been painted, drawn and cut out by hand.
