Bardsey/Enlli Apple Collage
Enlli Apple Collage.
Part of my new series of collages based around lost and forgotten foods from the UK. Each collaged person holds a unique and special food item and is dressed in clothes I have designed, inspired by historic photos.
One of the rarest apples in the world! The Enlli apple orchards are believed to have been tended by monks who lived on the islands monastery in the 13th Century and have been cultivated and eaten by residents on the island ever since. When staying on the island for a residency I made crumbles using apples that were available in the kitchen and blackberries from thickets along the islands only track.
Paper size: roughly 15.6x 23.7cm, slightly larger than A5.
This collage has been painted, drawn and cut out by hand.
1st Class Royal Mail. Your collage will be sent out within 3-7 working days of ordering.
Please note. This collage is very delicate and pasted by hand. If any pieces come loose I am more than happy to resolve this for you.
